- Will you still feel safe if the property values don’t grow or decline in the next 5 years, as there has already been a 40-50% increase in the past 5 years? (I’m referring to the Sydney property market).
- Will you actually drive pass your investment property or want to engage with the tenant?
- What is investing about for you? Is it having the property close to home or buying something that will grow, provide income and give you more choices? When it comes to buying close to home it may not be the best investment. If you feel uncomfortable about buying in other areas or interstate, ask for help from people who have. It will require a mind shift.
