Seeing before buying Property Investment.

One of my clients has ten investment properties and has only seen three of them. Most people would think this was crazy… buying something without seeing it. In some cases, clients have bought and sold a property over a 10 year period, and never once stepped into the front door. If you are just getting into property investing, you may find this difficult to do initially, however you eventually realise, working with the right team, people that you trust, take care it for you.

The season of hibernation? Buying Property in Winter.

Typically, the property market slows down during the winter months.  It makes sense. Everyone knows the feeling of wanting to stay in during the colder months. The perfect time to recuperate and restore, but also sit back and take stock. In all honesty, any one who is serious about property investing, doesn't hiberate.. well for not too long anyway. When everyone is enjoy the comforts of the fire, the investors are out their hunting for their next purchase.

Only 5% of people have a second investment property

Why is it that only 95% of property investors have only one property investment. Why are we stopping at one investment? Why are we not continuing on to the second investment property? I personally can relate to this. I was in there. I bought my first investment property and didn’t purchase my next one until ten years later. Why the delay? I think it’s because I bought one and sat on it. I didn't have a strategy. I didn't really given much thought to buying my first property. At the time I was pleased with myself for having come this far. So the momentum dissipated.

Property Investing Strategy – Does one size fit all?

Property Investing Strategy - One Size Fits all? Absolutely not and never should it. My advice is to leave the 'one size fits all' approach to buying apparel. And to be honest, after seeing a personal stylist (hope you noticed!!) this isn’t a very good idea either. Everyone is different. That's why going to one person who only does one thing, can come unstuck, as this one thing they do, may not work well with your story of past, present and future. I always recommend you start wide, look at the products, and then narrow in on what is the most suitable, after getting a feel for each. Work with someone that has expansive experience.
